K-12 Superintendent - Part Time

The Tekoa School District Board of Directors is currently seeking a part-time superintendent to begin July 1, 2023. Ideal candidate should have knowledge of current preK-12 issues and best practices, school law, finance and an understanding of small, rural schools and communities.

Currently enrolling 195 students in grades K-12, Tekoa is a rural school district in eastern Washington. Located at the northeastern corner of Whitman County, Tekoa is two miles west of the Idaho border and 50 miles from Spokane (to the north), and from Pullman (to the south).

The school board will negotiate a contract with a salary range of $65,000-$75,000. Benefits include medical (with vision), dental, life and long-term disability, and participation in Washington state retirement.
